Offense: Fail
Hard to believe running back Knowshon Moreno rushed for 161 yards but the Broncos didn’t score a touchdown. But he did, and they didn’t.
Defense: Fail
Cornerback Champ Bailey held Kansas City receiver Dwayne Bowe without a reception, but the Chiefs rushed for 185 yards and held the ball for just more than 37 minutes.
Special teams: Fail
To get the upset against the division leader on the road, you need an impact play here. The Broncos did not get one.
Coaching: Fail
With 2:32 left in a game that was in the balance and with little to lose, coach Josh McDaniels elected to punt it away on a fourth-and-4 from the Broncos’ 39-yard line. The Broncos got the ball back for only one more play.
