FORT CARSON, Colo.—Fort Carson is holding a meeting to promote its “adopt-a-school” program that links area schools with military units.
The meeting will be Wednesday afternoon at the post.
Post officials say the goal is to promote more unit-school adoptions and plan for activities at the schools for participating soldiers.
The adopt-a-school program is designed to promote the academic, emotional and physical well-being of students, soldiers and the community.
