DENVER—Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter says he’s mulling over a “stack full” of pardon requests as he prepares to leave office on Jan. 11.
Ritter declined to say Thursday if he’s decided to grant any of them or say who was appealing.
Ritter’s legal counsel says the governor and former Denver prosecutor has granted a handful of pardon requests over the past four years. GOP Gov. Bill Owens granted 13 over the eight years he was in office.
