A man hit and killed on a light-rail line Tuesday near the Alameda station has been identified as 19-year- old Harry Exner of Red Wing, Minn., according to the Denver coroner.
Exner was crossing the tracks on foot in a restricted, fenced-off area when he was hit by the train.
Regional Transportation District spokesman Scott Reed said the train operator saw Exner on the tracks but could not stop in time.
