A house in Golden, just two blocks from the Colorado School of Mines, caught fire late this morning after a tree fell into the home and sparked an electrical fire, according to Karlyn Tilley, spokeswoman for the city of Golden.
People in the home at 2017 Cheyenne St. were able to get out of the home without injury, said Tilley.
The home is about two blocks south of the School of Mines campus.
