Today. The highly anticipated Lafayette Skate Park marks its grand opening at noon. This is a 19,000-square- foot park conceived by Team Pain of Florida, an award-winning skate park design firm. It includes a Mini Bowl with corners, a mogul, extensions and inlaid curbs; The Snake Run Ditch, which features a big mogul, a little spine roll over and bank walls; and the Street Course, which has stairs, rails and ledges capped with granite; along with a Pro Bowl and an Intermediate Bowl.
