WASHINGTON — The Obama administration said Friday it is planning additional economic sanctions against Iran and will increase pressure on Tehran until it agrees to negotiations on its nuclear program.
Gary Samore, the top White House nonproliferation official, acknowledged that Iran might be trying to manipulate the West by continuing slow-moving talks with Washington and five other major powers.
