DENVER—Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that hit a pregnant woman in Denver.
Police said 27-year-old Laura Gorham was in critical condition Friday at Denver Health Medical Center. The coroner’s office says her baby boy was delivered at the hospital, but didn’t survive.
The Denver Post reports that police haven’t been able to talk to Gorham.
Police say she was six weeks away from giving birth. She was hit as she crossed the street in the Stapleton neighborhood Thursday around dusk.
Police say the vehicle was either a dark SUV or pickup truck. They say there were witnesses.
