BOULDER, Colo.—The University of Colorado in Boulder will try to cast a spell on finals-weary students by opening a satellite campus of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy.
The Daily Camera says the school will host a Harry Potter-themed midnight breakfast starting at 11:59 p.m. Monday to provide a timeout. The University Memorial Center will be transformed into a school for witches and wizards.
The tradition of a midnight breakfast in December started in 1997 and draws about 1,100 students. This year, the Glenn Miller Ballroom will feature Harry Potter video games, and a modified version of Quidditch, a game played by Hogwarts students in the Harry Potter books. But the broomsticks ridden by players likely won’t be the flying variety.
