Friday night at the brought three distinct impressions of indie folk. The seven-piece Portland band harmonized in ways similar to Mumford & Sons, yet added a mood of their own. The Fox filled out as Denver’s came on stage and even more by the time of headlining set. The best part of the night was definitely the variety of instruments played by all three bands; we saw everything from a cello to an accordion to a musical saw.
