LITTLETON — Arapahoe County commissioners Tuesday passed a $328.4 million operating budget.
The 2011 budget includes $9.4 million for capital projects. About $800,000 will be set aside for the Interstate 25 and Arapahoe Road interchange. Another $600,000 will go for improvements to Quincy Avenue in the central part of the county.
Also being funded is a training track and parking lot for the Sheriff’s Office at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds and Regional Park. That project has a price tag of $900,000.
