DENVER—Why not give the gift of the great outdoors this holiday season?
That’s the suggestion of two state agencies. Colorado State Parks says an annual parks pass is one idea. The pass is good for all 42 state parks throughout the year.
The annual passes are available at parks offices as well as many grocery and outdoors stores.
The Colorado Division of Wildlife says it offers a variety of possible gifts on its website, including books on hunting and fishing, books on birds and animals, DVDs, clothing and subscriptions to the magazine Colorado Outdoors.
The DOW says people can also put notes in cards saying they’ll buy hunting and fishing licenses when they go on sale in March.
