The Montana Public Service Commission unanimously approved the pending merger between Qwest and CenturyLink Inc. on Tuesday.
The approval of the merger in Montana included an in- depth review of the transaction and an agreement on public-interest benefits the companies reached with the Montana Consumer Counsel, the Montana Department of Administration and several competitive carriers in the state.
