Dorian Brown has rebounded well enough from a knee injury that kept him off the football field for his senior year at Thompson Valley High.
Thursday, the star running back who had 1,975 yards rushing as a junior became the first official member of Colorado State’s 2011 recruiting class. He will graduate early from the high school in Loveland to enroll in spring classes.
The 6-foot-1, 216-pound Brown, who tore the ACL in his left knee six days before the Eagles’ season opener, signed a financial aid agreement, CSU coach Steve Fairchild said.
Rated the nation’s No. 28 running back by Rivals.com, he had 1,563 yards rushing as a sophomore.
