BROOMFIELD — Add North Metro Fire Rescue District to the lineup of services that call the civic complex near Community Park home.
North Metro will open its new administration building Monday. The $4.8 million building, where the fire chief, senior staff, fire prevention, accounting, clerical and information- technology departments will have offices, is at 101 Lamar St., near the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library.
Funding for the headquarters — and other recently built North Metro facilities, including a training center in Erie — came from a $26 million bond issue approved by taxpayers in 2006.
