Laura Gorham, the pregnant woman struck by a hit-and-run driver in a Denver crosswalk, has returned home from Denver Health Medical Center.
“She’s home with her parents,” her grandfather Richard Jansen said. “She’s doing pretty well, actually.”
Jansen said he hopes police will determine soon whether an SUV impounded Thursday was the vehicle in the hit and run. Gorham, 27, was 34 weeks pregnant when a driver ran a stop sign Dec. 9 and struck her. She was critically injured, and her baby died. David Olinger, The Denver Post
