A skier was seriously injured in a collision at Eldora Mountain Resort on Wednesday and airlifted to St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver, the Daily Camera reported.
The skier, a 24-year-old Longmont man, collided with a 22-year-old female skier from South Korea about 3:30 p.m., Boulder County sheriff’s Deputy Rik Henrikson told the Camera. The collision occurred on the International Run, which is an intermediate run.
The woman was also injured and was taken to Boulder Community Hospital.
Henrikson said it wasn’t known whether the man’s injuries were life-threatening, but they required “immediate intervention.”
