Veteran goaltender Kyle Jones on Thursday was named a starter for the Central Hockey League all-star team in his first season with the Colorado Eagles.

Jones, 27, is tied for the CHL lead in shutouts (two) and is tied for fifth in the league in wins (10). He has a 2.44 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage.

The game — Jan. 12 in Rapid City, S.D. — will match the Rapid City Rush against a team of CHL all-stars from the league’s other 17 clubs. The starters were selected by CHL head coaches, league media information departments and select media members.
