Five people are under investigation for criminal extortion involving a man who answered a ad for an in-home massage service.

Parker police spokeswoman Doreen Jokerst described the man answering the online ad as the victim in the case.

The five suspects, who are being held on $100,000 bond each, are being investigated for extortion, conspiracy to commit extortion, theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

The suspects are identified as Courtney L. Payne, 20; Priscilla Payne-Harris, 22; Jennifer Payne, 29; James Payne, 24; and Brittany Coleman, 24.

Jokerst said no additional information involving the investigation is being released at this time. Aurora police are also involved in the investigation.

Parker police believe others may have come into contact with the suspects while answering a similar ad.
