Fifteen Colorado housing counseling agencies received a total of $689,666 in grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The grants are part of nearly $73 million in housing counseling grants made to more than 500 organizations nationwide.
The grants represent a $13 million, or 22 percent, increase over last year’s funding level.
