The iMainGo X is a 6-by-4-by-2.5- inch protective case for an iPod, iPhone or most MP3 players that incorporates stereo speakers into its housing. The incorporated 3.5mm plug also can be plugged into any device with a 3.5mm connection — or use a 2.5mm adapter for more versatility. Push the case’s power button, and you’ve got sound. The speaker/case is coolest when used with a small device that can be slid into the transparent sleeve, letting you carry and play the device without opening the case. In addition to external speakers, the case has dual headphone jacks, as well as a mic input (for Karaoke nights, of course). The speakers run on an included rechargeable lithium ion battery. An AC charger is included, as are a carry bag, and wrist and shoulder straps. The stereo sound is loud and clear, the bass big and full.
