Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to help find a man who forced his way into a home last night and robbed a woman using a knife, according to a release from Denver Police.
Police responded to the robbery at about 8:10 p.m. in the 1800 block of West 51st Avenue in Denver.
The suspect knocked on the home of the female victim who was alone. When the woman opened the door of her home, the suspect forced his way in, threatening the victim with a serrated knife. The suspect demanded money and then ran west on 51st Avenue.
He is described as a black male in his 20s with an unshaven face and short black hair. The suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 170 pounds, and was seen wearing wearing a black “puffy” coat with a fur-lined hood, and black pants.
