Forget Michigan. Henceforth, that “M” in the center of the Big House could stand for Marriage. Or Matrimony. Or maybe even Mercy. The stadium may soon become a banquet center available to brides and grooms eager to exchange midfield vows on Michigan’s fabled block “M.” Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon said he plans to hire someone to market Michigan Stadium weddings and parties. Brandon envisions wedding processions coming out of the Michigan tunnel and under the “M Go Blue” banner, and the 109,901-seat stadium could make for one heck of a reception party.
