The Colorado Mammoth signed defenseman Steve Toll to a one-year National Lacrosse League contract.
Toll, a 13-year veteran known for his speed, played the past five-plus seasons with Mammoth offseason acquisition John Grant Jr. for Rochester and has scooped up 674 loose balls (10.5 per-game average) since the start of the 2007 season. He has scooped up 100-plus loose balls nine of the past 10 years.
To make room on the roster for Toll, who has 149 goals and 383 points in his regular-season career, the Mammoth released defenseman Shayne Bennett.
Eagles add veteran forward.
The Colorado Eagles of the Central Hockey League signed veteran forward Dan Sullivan.
Sullivan is in his ninth year of professional hockey, most of which has been spent in the ECHL. The 6-foot-2, 240-pounder spent the past two seasons with the Gwinnett Gladiators.
In 375 career games, he has posted 184 points (79 goals, 105 assists) and 1,023 penalty minutes.
