Commerce City police and the Colorado State Patrol released a joint statement Thursday night confirming that Andrew Terry, the suspect involved in a Tuesday night pursuit, was wounded during the chase. The wound was described as superficial.
Terry, who led the 30-minute chase after running over an officer’s foot, is being held in the Adams County Jail. His bail was set at $1 million.
According to the release, multiple shots were fired by both Commerce City police officers and State Patrol troopers during the pursuit.
