Former Republican gubernatorial candidate Scott McInnis is not returning to his job at the Denver law office of Hogan Lovells.
“Scott McInnis has retired to Grand Junction to be more involved in his family businesses,” said Cole Finegan, the firm’s managing partner. “Here at Hogan, we wish him and his family the best in his new adventure.”
McInnis, who could not be reached Thursday, was on a one-year leave of absence while he ran for governor. News of his retirement was first reported by Law Week Colorado.
