A ruptured 12-inch water main that snarled traffic on East Colfax Avenue between Marion and Ogden streets today was repaired Monday night, but eastbound traffic won’t resume until about 9 a.m. Wednesday, Denver Water said.
The reopening is awaiting repaving. Westbound lanes of Colfax are open.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted at Ogden Street to 14th Avenue.
Northbound Downing Street is closed between 14th Avenue and East Colfax Avenue.
The main break interrupted water service to five businesses, according to Denver Water.
