An 18-year-old Centennial woman is in police custody today on suspicion of robbing two banks Tuesday, according to police.

Littleton Police Lt. Sean Dugan said that Janine Ledoux entered a Key Bank at 7940 S. Broadway in Littleton at around 3:20 p.m. and handed a teller a note saying that Ledoux had a gun and wanted money. The suspect left with an unknown amount of cash and left the scene.

Soon afterward, Dugan said, that a similar-looking suspect robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Englewood, although that case is still being investigated.

Witnesses helped lead Littleton Police and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Deputies to arrest Ledoux without incident at her home on East Nichols Circle .

Dugan said that the case remains under investigation by Littleton Police with assistance from the FBI.
