DENVER—Has Colorado’s mystery artist struck again?

In December, someone anonymously left 15-foot sculptures on Donna Coughlin’s yard and outside the Boulder History Museum. Coughlin said it happened before in 1987, when University of Colorado graduate Mark Guilbeau left her a giant bug sculpture. She caught him as he disassembled it.

After KUSA-TV in Denver reported on the latest sculptures, 25-year-old Madison Upton, of Longmont, posted a comment online using the name madisonrenee186, saying she thought it was hilarious.

Last week, someone anonymously sent art to KUSA for madisonrenee186. The package shows it was sent from Abita Springs, La., where public records show Guilbeau has a post office box. No phone number is listed there for him.
