DENVER—Interstate 70 around the Eisenhower Tunnel is back open.
Westbound Interstate 70 between Georgetown and Silverthorne, including the tunnel, reopened Tuesday around 8:30 a.m. after an overnight closure. Eastbound I-70 has also ropened between Silverthorne and the tunnel.
Berthoud Pass and Loveland Pass remain closed.
Fifteen inches of snow fell at the tunnel from a storm that dropped up to 2 feet of snow in Colorado’s High Country.
