• The nature of the case against 11-year-old Jacob Christenson was mischaracterized in a story on Page 14A Monday and again in Bill Johnson’s Wednesday column and a correction that appeared Thursday. Jacob is accused of second-degree arson for a fire that caused almost $200,000 in damage. District Attorney Carol Chambers said it would be a felony if committed by an adult but is a civil matter in juvenile courts.
