Colorado State’s football commitment list grew to 25 on Thursday with the addition of Del Rio (Texas) High School linebacker Cory James, GoldAndGreenNews.com said.
James, 6-feet-4 and 210 pounds, is a high school teammate of CSU commitment Kevin Pierre-Louis.

The National Lacrosse League announced the site of the 2011 All-Star Game: Turning Stone Casino Arena in Verona, N.Y. Also, the league signed a national TV deal with Versus.
The All-Star Game will be Feb. 27. Fans can vote for the starting lineups for the East and West squads at . Mammoth players on the ballot are forwards John Grant Jr. and Cliff Smith, transition player Ilija Gajic, defensemen Mac Allen and Steve Forsythe and goaltender Chris Levis.
The game is the first of a nine-game package on Versus that culminates with the NLL championship. The schedule will be released later.
The Mammoth hosts Philadelphia on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Pepsi Center.

Regis Jesuit High School sophomore Missy Franklin will join Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte and Natalie Coughlin on the U.S. swimming team at the 2011 world championships in Shanghai, the last major international meet before the 2012 London Olympics.
The U.S. swimmers were selected based on their performances at the USA Swimming National Championships and Pan Pacific Championships, both last August. Franklin will swim the 200-meter backstroke and the 4 x 100 freestyle relay at the worlds.
