A former prosecutor who was named acting district attorney in Montrose County earlier this month will stay on through next year.
Gov. John Hickenlooper said Friday that Dan Hotsenpiller will stay in the 7th Judicial District, where former district attorney Myrl Serra resigned after facing criminal charges.
Serra allegedly demanded sexual favors from women in his office. Serra has said he is innocent.
