LOVELAND, Colo.—Loveland police arrested a high school teacher suspected of sexually assaulting a child.
Police arrested 31-year-old Courtney Bowles Friday night at a Loveland park on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by someone in a position of trust. The Denver Post reports that Bowles coaches teachers about teaching methods at Mountain View High School.
Loveland police spokeswoman Jan Burreson says an officer patrolling North Lake Park arrested Bowles after the park closed. Burreson says Bowles was in a car with a boy.
Burreson said Bowles is also accused of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Larimer County District Attorney’s Office will decide next week whether charges are warranted.
