The International Skating Union Four Continents Figure Skating Championship will be held Feb. 6-12, 2012, at the Colorado Springs World Arena and World Arena Ice Hall.

Colorado Springs hosted the event in 2006 and 2007 and has been home to numerous international events. It also has presented five world championships, two world junior championships, three Skate Americas and six U.S. championships. Tickets will go on sale this fall.

Brown first at Killington.

Breckenridge native Bobby Brown won the Winter Dew Tour freeski slopestyle final Sunday at Killington, Vt. Switzerland’s Elias Am- buhl placed second with a 91.75, and Nick Goepper from Lawrenceburg, Ind., finished third with an 88.25.

After falling on his first run, Brown went for it on the second, earning a score of 93.75. He is first in the men’s freeski slopestyle tour rankings heading into the final stop of the tour — the Toyota Championship at Snowbasin Resort on Feb. 10-13 in Huntsville, Utah, about 35 miles north of Salt Lake City.
