Firefighters rescued a 13-year-old boy after he apparently fell through an icy reservoir this afternoon.
The boy fell through the ice at the Main Reservoir near West Mississippi Avenue and South Kipling Parkway just after 4:30 p.m., according to the West Metro Fire Department.
Firefighters say the 13-year-old and an 8-year-old were chasing ducks when the 13-year-old fell through.
Rescuers responded quickly and were able to get him out.
