Notes: This will be the first series between the teams since North Dakota swept the Tigers by 3-2 scores a year ago in Colorado Springs. . . . CC, 6-5-1 at home this season, is 5-4 without freshman sensation Jaden Schwartz, who produced 26 points in 17 games before fracturing his ankle while playing in the World Junior championships for Canada. Schwartz is out until mid- to late February. . . . CC begins a stretch in which it plays six straight in Colorado, including five in the Springs. The Tigers host WCHA-leading Denver next Friday to begin a home-and-home series. The Pioneers lead North Dakota by a point in the league standings.

CANISIUS (8-11-5, 7-6-4 AHA) AT AIR FORCE (10-9-4, 8-5-4 AHA)

What: AHA two-game series

When: Tonight and Saturday, 7 p.m.

Where: Cadet Ice Arena

TV/radio: None/1300 AM

Notes: Air Force begins its final 10-game, regular-season stretch having gone 8-3-4 in its past 15 games. The Falcons are fourth in the AHA with 20 points, eight behind Rochester Institute of Technology but with two games in hand. Air Force visits RIT next weekend.
