A man was killed on the train tracks in Castle Rock on Thursday evening, and police are investigating the reason he was in the train’s path.
His name and age were not released.
The man was on the tracks on Perry Street between First and Second streets about 6:20 p.m., said police spokeswoman Kim Mutchler. He was hit by a northbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe train, she said.
