Learn about eagles.
The 15th annual Eagle Day Festival in Pueblo will be Saturday and Feb. 6. The festival gives visitors the opportunity to view bald eagles in the wild and learn more about them. Events begin Saturday morning and include activities for kids, raptor releases, guided trail hikes, bird walks and educational talks.
Redstone Winter Fest.
The second annual Redstone Winter Fest takes place Feb. 18-20 and includes a 5K snowshoe race/walk, beer tasting, live music, snow sculpting, kids games and more. Kick off the weekend with the “Moonlight Fun Ski,” a one-hour guided ski on torchlit trails.
Kidtopia weekends at Keystone.
The Keystone Kidtopia weekend is Feb. 18-21. This festival for kids offers families the chance to explore the Keystone snow fort, dance to live music in the plaza, enjoy arts and crafts, go disco tubing and participate in continuing-education activities on and off the slopes. Another Kidtopia weekend will take place March 12.
