Three people were injured this morning in a two-vehicle crash in Aurora.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. near the intersection of South Parker Road and South Havana Street, said Lt. Chuck DeShazer, an Aurora Police Department spokesman.
An Isuzu Rodeo was northbound on Parker Road when the driver of a pickup truck, which was southbound on Parker, made a left turn in front of the SUV.
The Rodeo t-boned the pickup truck, which rolled on to its side.
The Rodeo had the right-of-way; the driver of the truck is at fault and will be cited, DeShazer said.
The driver of the truck and two adults in the Rodeo were all taken to a local hospital, mostly as precautionary measure, DeShazer said.
Their injuries were described as “minor.”
Two children in the Rodeo were not injured.
The crash tied up morning rush-hour traffic in the area.
