Colorado Sen. Mark Udall got a spot on the Select Committee on Intelligence on Thursday — a prestigious assignment that, coupled with his spot on the Armed Services Committee, will propel his stature in foreign affairs.
The committee is an addition to the three the Democrat served on last year — Armed Services, Energy and Natural Resources and the Special Committee on Aging.
The assignments of Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., on the agriculture; banking; health, education, labor and pension; and aging committees remain unchanged.
