Denver Mattress Co. donated more than $108,000 to the intermountain division of The Salvation Army through its 11th annual Operation Rest Assured charity campaign.
Cos Auto Group, consisting of BMW Center and MINI of Loveland, donated $8,800 to the Women’s Resource Center. The donation will be used to connect women in Larimer County to affordable dental, breast and cervical care.
Dillard’s Inc. recently contributed more than $1.7 million to local chapters of Ronald McDonald House Charities. The Denver and Aurora Ronald McDonald House locations each received a $15,328.10 check.
Wal-Mart Foundation and Colorado Advisory Council recently awarded Community Food Share a $75,000 grant in support of its “Feeding Families” warehouse-distribution program.
Panera Bread last year donated $2.3 million to support nonprofit organizations in Colorado via customer and company donations. The amount included the equivalent of $2.26 million in bread sent to local food banks and soup kitchens.
SafeHouse Denver recently received $16,500 from the Melvin and Elaine Wolf Foundation for shelter and counseling services for women and children who are homeless as a result of domestic violence.
