A Colorado Springs courier faces theft and burglary charges in Eagle County after being caught red-handed on tape, authorities said.
Mario Tripkovich, 64, is being held at the Eagle County Jail, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
Miscellaneous items were disappearing from the Shaw Medical Center in Edwards, and the center installed a surveillance camera to get to the bottom of the mystery, the sheriff’s office said.
Tripkovich, a courier, had access to the center to pick up items that had to be relayed to Denver.
“He was caught on tape (on) two separate occasions stealing property,” the sheriff’s office said in a media release.
His bond has been set at $15,000.
