The U.S. and South Korea may ratify a trade agreement as early as March that will eliminate tariffs gradually on U.S. beef sales, according to the Centennial-based National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.

“We will have the final negotiated deal between the U.S. government and Korean government, which then goes to Capitol Hill for congressional approval in the spring,” Colin Woodall, a vice president of government affairs for the industry group, said Thursday at a conference in Denver.
