GREELEY, Colo.—A frozen body wrapped in a blanket has been found under a bridge three miles east of Lochbuie.

The Weld County sheriff’s office says a county public works employee found the body Friday morning. Authorities say it appears the body was dumped there.

Undersheriff Margie Martinez tells The Tribune in Greeley that investigators couldn’t immediately tell whether the body was a man or a woman because it was frozen to the blanket. The body was taken to McKee Medical Center in Loveland. An autopsy will be done.
