MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s Defense Department says soldiers rescued 44 Guatemalan migrants who had been locked up by kidnappers in a house in the northern city of Reynosa, across the border from McAllen, Texas. The department said three Mexican migrants were also rescued when soldiers found the 37 men and 10 women Tuesday as part of their work against drug traffickers. No one was arrested.
