The Boulder- based software company behind programs such as Spy Sweeper and Window Washer has let go of some employees following four acquisitions and two joint ventures in the past year. Webroot spokeswoman MacLean Guthrie didn’t say how many employees were cut, but she told the Daily Camera the layoffs amount to less than 10 percent of employees worldwide.

Webroot’s website says it has 470 employees. Guthrie said the layoffs won’t affect the company’s planned move this month to Broomfield.
