A 20-year-old woman was raped in her apartment near the Colorado State University campus early Tuesday, Fort Collins police said.
The assailant, a stranger to the victim, is a stocky man in his 40s who entered through an unlocked door about 5:30 a.m., according to police, who declined to say whether the woman was a CSU student.
The woman told police her assailant claimed to have a weapon. He was further described as about 5 foot 10 and about 200 pounds, with curly, receding brown hair.
