Sonia Kashuk, who brought prestige cosmetics to the mass market by partnering with Target stores in 1998, is the speaker for CHOICES 2011, a Feb. 16 luncheon that benefits Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado. It begins at 11 a.m. at the Sheraton Denver Downtown.
Kashuk got her start as a makeup artist in the 1980s, working with photographer Arthur Elgort on shoots for such top fashion magazines as Vogue, Glamour and Harper’s Bazaar. Later, she became creative director/cosmetics for Aveda.
Kashuk also is a breast cancer survivor and author of two books.
Ceci Lowinger, Mimi Pomeranz and Melanie Siegel are chairing CHOICES. Admission is a minimum $200 contribution to Allied Jewish Federation’s Flagship Fund.
