Five hundred singles are expected to attend the sixth annual Rocky Mountain Singles Summit on Saturday.
Participants will be trying out “The MingleStick,” a keychain device that uses infrared signals like a TV remote to transfer data. It has a USB port on one end that plugs into a computer and an IR port on the other end to send and receive stored contact information. The devices are becoming popular at trade shows, conferences and seminars as the next best thing to a business card.
Mary Jo Fay, author of “Please Dear, Not Tonight: The Truth About Women and Sex,” is the keynote speaker. Seminars will offer tips for building better relationships. Appetizers will be served, and vendors that cater to the single lifestyle will be on hand.
Tickets are $35 if purchased online at or $40 at the door. 5-9:30 p.m., Red Lion Hotel Southeast, 3200 S. Parker Road, Aurora. Sheba Wheeler
